Clover Hill Village is a six acre living history village consisting of local historic buildings that were moved from their original locations and reconstructed on the site.

Multiple Exhibits and Resources
The museum is housed in the third Appomattox County jail, built in 1895, and contains many historical exhibits and resources, including genealogical and local history resources.
The Museum has been in constant operation under the management of the Society since the early 1980's. The museum is located in courthouse square at 337 Court Street in the town of Appomattox.
Clover Hill Village is a six acre living history village that was created by the Appomattox Historical Society over a period of years beginning in 1991. Clover Hill Village is located at 5747 River Ridge Road in Appomattox.
The Appomattox Historical Society meets every month on the third Tuesday at 6PM at the Appomattox Old Jail Museum and Library located at 337 Court Street. Come join us for a monthly meeting and discover what we do, and how you can help in preserving the history of Appomattox County for years to come!
