Do you have a passion for history? Want to help preserve and pass on the history of Appomattox County for generations to come? Then volunteer with the Appomattox County Historical Society and
put your passion to work!
As a non-profit organization we rely on volunteers to help manage and facilitate our locations and programs. When you decide to volunteer with the Historical Society you help to ensure that
our facilities, including the Appomattox Old Jail Museum and Library and the Clover Hill Village are open and accessible to the public. You will make a direct impact on ensuring that the
history of Appomattox County stays alive in the hearts and minds of our residents and surrounding communities.
If you have not already become a member of the Historical Society, we encourage you to consider becoming a member today. Annual membership dues are extremely affordable and help to fund our
facilities and events! For more information about becoming a Historical Society member please visit our Society Membership page.
